Very comfortable stay in a very clean room. Enjoy the sauna and breakfast is good. Easy commute to ski at resort.

Absolute gem of a boutique hotel in downtown Kimberley, walking distance from restaurants and shops. Beautiful and modern with old charm touches.Staff very attentive, This place has thought of everything. Divine breakfast, snack bar always open with things for young and old. Amazing sauna, lots of games and nooks to read books and relax with in front of the fire. Highly recommend this hotel.

Some rooms are quite small but still comfortable. Only downside is the lighting is horrible. So dark even with all the lights on, have to open blinds to get any light.

The hotel was adorable but my bed was quite hard and out of shape. Couldn’t get anything on the tv. Prime wouldn’t work for me. Otherwise, I love the concept and would recommend.

Larix Hotel is a beautiful, family run hotel. Everything about our stay was very good. The family is wonderful and any concerns, questions, etc. were dealt with promptly and cheerfully. The beds were very comfortable, the provision of a snack table for guests, the lounge was lovely with books, comfortable seating, and gas fireplace and the complimentary breakfast was what I liked. I definitely will return!

We love the Larix! We have a been a couple times and will go back. The location is close to the Platzl and many incredible restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely and I love to sit down by the fireplace. Highly recommend!

This property was safe, warm, and full of great options. The staff went out of their way to make you feel special and created an equal place to stay. This location is a must for me in the future.

Very well kept establishment. Very good breakfast. It’s an older refurbished ( very nicely ) bldg. The room we had had floor baseboard heating which is difficult to control room temp. Ours was very hot , we shut both heaters off completely and had to have A/C on all night at 18 degrees to keep the room comfortable. Not a major inconvenience but not so eco friendly. Also , the noise ( loud chatter ) from the front desk area resonates to the open concept upper floors very badly later at night. Very well appointed establishment. Not your typical “hotel” , very nice comfort feeling, Reminds me of some places in Europe.

This is one of the cutest places I have visited recently. They care about all of the details. The staff is wonderful and friendly and I think they have one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I can’t wait to return!

This is a perfect spot to stay on you way to the Banff Mountain Film Festival. Amazingly beautiful, caters to travelers and fantastic staff. Local food is outstanding with small shops and a plaza.

Beautiful property, with staff focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, luxury bedding and lovely toiletries. Thoughtful lighting included directional lighting that allowed one person to sleep while the other could read. Our double queen room included a small foyer. Room was very quiet, did not hear other guests or hall traffic. Several beautifully designed common areas for guests to use, well stocked with books and games. A snack area is set up for 24 hours access, stocked with a generous selection of beverages and cookies and fruit. A second floor office setup with computer is available. Exceptional breakfast. Hotel is eco-friendly, minimum plastics in rooms and toiletries are locally made. Sue and Janet really made us feel welcome. One small note, it would be lovely if the bedroom had more shelf/clothes storage options. The room itself was spacious, it would be nice to be able to unpack suitcases for longer stay visits.
