Very convenient and excellent location for our 1st weekend on Long Island to attend a wedding.

It was very nice.

I booked this house for my nephew's wedding for myself, husband, baby, parents and sister. Lovely layout with common spaces on the 1st floor and bedrooms/bathroom upstairs. Check-in was super easy and communication with hosts was seamless. We didn't get to explore RIverhead very much due to wedding festivities, but the house is close to downtown.

This rental was booked in June for an August weekend and paid in full after a brief, friendly exchange with host. Day of check-in, I realized I hadn't received any info on how to access the property. I texted Briana and she called me immediately. She claimed she had no idea how I was able to book the property for the weekend because she had blocked the days out on the calendar. She was in the house and expecting company for the weekend. She then called VRBO and so did I. Briana canceled the booking while I was on the phone with VRBO customer support exactly 3 hours before we were set to check-in. My sister had flown in from South Carolina for our reunion weekend and my cousin was in the midst of a 6 hour drive. We now had nowhere to stay. Finding a vacancy on a Friday afternoon in August on Long Island is pretty much impossible. VRBO was no help at all. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help us find alternative lodging. Their Book With Confidence guarantee is useless.

Could not have had a better experience. Great communication with host making seem less check in. Exactly as advertised on VRBO. Couch folds out into bed and owners provide folder with activity recommendations and places to eat. Backyard is amazing with nice fireplace and outdoor dining. Good location (15-20 min) from westhampton beach. Super clean, would definitely stay again.
