The Retreat at Kharista by Ekosistem

We were amazed by the landscape design of this hotel — a classic Indonesian style that feels delicate yet surrounded by lush greenery. The one-bedroom villa was spacious, and we absolutely loved the unique furniture. The entire resort is made up of a series of gardens, which ensures excellent privacy for every guest. The restaurant was quite good as well. Everything about this hotel was satisfying. What truly touched us, however, was the staff. When we realized we had left our phone in a Grab car, the whole team gave us all the support they possibly could, and we were very lucky to get the phone back with their help. Since the driver didn't speak English, the team helped us communicate with him and even assisted with the police. We are truly grateful to all of them — especially to Adel, who made us feel the deep friendliness and warmth of the Indonesian people.

The sound insulation in the room could be improved, as we could occasionally hear noise from outside.

Really stylish and comfortable and the food at cafe and included in breakfast was sensational and the most heavenly smoothies. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The spa is amazing. Try four hands massage for a slice of heaven.

Very good kitchen . Food was great. Service was perfect. Very nice architecture and garden.

Only problem the close by road where in the morning there is quite a motorcycle noise.

One of the best hotels in Canggu area. Super cool stuff, big rooms, great location. I like the design and nature. I’m grateful to the hotel staff for accommodating my request and changing the room I was planning to stay in. The room I was initially given didn’t have a mirror above the sink, which didn’t work for me. At my request, they found a suitable option for me. I absolutely loved the new room and really enjoyed my stay there.

Unfortunately, when I arrived, the floors had been cleaned with bleach, and white residue from the bleach was left on the fabric of both my belongings and my friend’s belongings. So it is very strange that the staff clean this space with chlorine-based products and do not warn people who are coming in from the street.
