The studio is well-equipped, good WIFI, nice comfortable furnishings and large bed. kitchen(ette) well-equipped and convenient, very quiet location and convenient with buses at the end of the drive going to Ambleside, Coniston and Langdale, a short 10-min walk into Ambleside to shops and restaurant.
No warning that the drive up to the studio is extremely steep, narrow, twisty and slippery in damp weather: Nissan Xtrail only just made it up to the small parking area outside the studio. Probably OK with a 4-wheel drive but could be very tricky indeed in icy conditions.

Lovely peaceful location, really comfy bed.
Difficult to find and very steep drive and not much space to park

Location was great and so quiet and central to access the lakes.
Bed was comfy
Were lots of cob webs , the oven door was broken. No information or booklet on how to operate the washing machine or the heating. Being australian we didnt know what to do.
