This is a beautifully refurbished apartment in a charming old building. High ceilings, old fireplaces and beautiful windows but modern furniture, very well equipped kitchen and everything else you need. Great location, a short walk from one of the main underground lines, in a part of town with lots of restaurants, bakeries and a few supermarkets. This would make an excellent base for exploring Lyon, it was for us. Esteban, who let us in, was super helpful, gave us some local treats and was all around a nice guy. I appreciate the fact that there were a few tablets for both the dishwasher and the washing machine.

Don't let any of this scare you, but these are the things I'd like to mention: This apartment is described as having two sofa beds. One of them is just a sofa, which caused us problems since we were four friends that did not wish to share beds. The toilet is not attached to the floor, you need to sit down very carefully. The AC. We could not get this to work until we went deep into the menues of the interface on the boiler and discovered cooling was turned off completely. I would recommend that a) you turn this on when it's 30 degrees outside and b) that you assemble a binder with instructions for the AC, the tv, where to dispose the garbage you were so very adamant about us removing and soforth. But just to be clear, I would totally stay in this apartment again, should life bring me to Lyon one more time.

Great location! Easy access to metro station. Very nice apartment with all the comodities, especially the air conditioning. Our host Selorm was extremely nice and helpful! Definitely will come back!

Nothing.
