I cleaning lady gave us the key and said she did the best she could with the cleaning. And call her back if something needed attention. We sat on the sofa and our clothes were covered in dog hair. Both my son stated they were itching. We where suppose to sleep on this sofa. I called the host and no answer, so I called Vrbo and they didn’t get answer from the host either. So the Vrbo representative told me to clean the sofa myself. I grabbed a vacuum from the closet to clean it myself and it had a horrible smell. The microwave was dirty, the floor covered in dog hair. The owner did call back finally, and offered to come the next day to clean. But I had an itinerary, so this issue was going to interfere with our vacation. This is not fair to the guest to rearrange their day for something that should have been done already. I covered the sofa with sheets for the rest of my stay. I have pictures of the mess. The host stated someone before me must have had a dog. But what does that have to do with me. I should have been cleaned by the cleaning lady, no excuses. And my son had a bumped that appeared on him that he stated hurt. The Vrbo representative have done nothing after numerous calls. They stated they will call me back and no one has called me back.

The complex is very new and modern. The area is easily accessible to the BART. We had a rental car that we parked next door to the complex. Communication with the owner was very easy and a response was always quickly returned. Thank you.

Nicely decorated, clean, and in a good location. We enjoyed our stay!
