Nice house with plenty of room and beautiful view of the sound.

This was a great place to unwind for a relaxing weekend getaway with friends. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is quiet.

Our group enjoyed the house and location. The house is spacious and allowed for a lot of "hang out" space on both the main floor living room and downstairs rec-rooms.

The home was in good condition. No weird smell. It was minimally appointed but had lots of space. It mentions lots of outdoor space to enjoy but it's so steep and everywhere you look there are signs not to trespass onto the neighbor's land that it doesn't seem all that advantageous. The biggest reason for my review is we showed up for our reservation at dinner time and the gate lock did not work. It was dark, in the middle of nowhere, and my kids had had a long travel day. We called the manager of the property and she came out to check on the issue. She never once apologized but explained that they've always had trouble with the locks on the gate because THE GUESTS didn't lock them, or lost them or did something wrong. Obviously, their system wasn't working. We ended up waiting a total of two hours when she came back with bolt cutters and cut the lock. I let the hosts know of this issue and they kept saying how important a 5 star review is so I told them I'd wait a while to leave my review so they could make it right. They obviously did not. If you end up staying here I suggest arriving during daylight hours and hope the lock works.
