Just WOW! I had excellent company in the form of various kinds of cockroaches. One red one would always come running when I returned from the Sanctuary, while a few others were already waiting for me in bed. Thanks to them, I got to sample fine French cuisine, as the odor these charming creatures exuded didn't exactly put me in the mood to eat in the hotel room. The owner didn't reply to my messages—presumably, he didn't want to bother me unnecessarily. It was a wonderful time spent with these highly sociable critters.
