Oh, how we loved Orkney! It is an amazing place and very easy to explore. Our accommodation was well equipped, comfortable and private, with everything we needed for a completely self-contained stay. It was only a short drive into town, yet far enough away to appreciate the space and peaceful surroundings. A fantastic location that we would highly recommend.

The cottage was very clean, looked brand new, well equipped in the kitchen. Comfortable bed, view of the sea, in the distance. We had good access to make trips in the area. We parked right in front of the house, and the area is extremely quiet. The owner was very nice, she gave us smoked salmon. We really liked Orkney and felt good in the cottage, although it is a bit small.

We couldn't have hoped for anything better. Spotlessly clean. Everything you'd need. But lovely added extra available of milk, butter and bread.
Our hosts live next door and they were incredibly friendly.
Nothing. Everything was great.
