Uma Kalai

Everything. Starting from their attention to the client, which was truly exceptional. Never experienced anything like this before. Especially Jun, Purnamii and Ade were professional, friendly, careful, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. The place itself is an idyllic, beautiful complex, surrounded by nature. It is close to Ubud but with traffic it can take a while to get to the city center. For us this wasn't really an issue as we wanted to stay a bit away from the more touristic and chaotic part of this area. They only have 6 villas which means the place is always quiet and anyone's stay is ensured to be relaxing. Our room was clean and really, really comfortable, and even though it was right on the common pool, we were not bothered once by any noise. We also had the chance to try some of their complementary services and facilities: - Besides their (healthy and delicious) breakfast, we had dinner at their restaurant which ended up feeling like a private (and again, truly delicious) dining experience with an incredible view on the jungle and rice fields. - We booked a one-day tour through temples and Jatiluwih with one of their recommended driver/guides, Ari, which was one of the best guides we've had throughout our whole 3-weeks trip in Indonesia. - I booked a yoga lesson in the morning - also one of the best yoga classes I've ever experienced, the teacher was really good. - We also did laundry with them, which was done really quickly. I still dream of this place and I'll be happy to recommend it to anyone who is headed to Bali. I know that if I'll ever go back, I'll go back there.

Uma Kalai is absolutely exceptional! The hotel is spotless, and the service is truly outstanding. The food is incredible, and every single meal and drink was delicious - nothing disappointed! Every member of staff is friendly, kind, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more special. I booked a spa treatment every day and felt completely relaxed, comfortable, and pampered throughout my stay. An amazing experience from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back for another stay. Uma Kalai has truly set the bar high! We loved every moment of our stay and are already planning our next visit. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

From the moment we arrived at Uma Kalai, we received the warmest and most exceptional service. Everyone was incredibly kind, polite and always willing to go the extra mile to make us happy. A special thank you to Ade, Agung Ari, Eka, Jun, Nana, Purnamii and Roiyani — you were all wonderful and made us feel truly cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful, our room was excellent and spotless, and the food at the restaurant was also very good. We were even given a room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise. Communication throughout our stay was excellent, and every little detail made our honeymoon feel truly special and unforgettable. ❤️ Highly recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Kalai and would definitely come back again! 🥰

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido hotel e siamo rimasti senza parole. La posizione è semplicemente strategica, perfetta per muoversi e vivere il meglio della zona godendo al contempo di una pace e di una riservatezza uniche. Ciò che rende davvero memorabile questo luogo è lo staff. Abbiamo trovato un'accoglienza calorosa, familiare, accompagnata da una cura per i dettagli e da mille attenzioni che ci hanno fatto sentire coccolati dal primo all'ultimo istante.
