The place was well appointed, spacious, clean and nice. We could drive to both Hayesville and Hiawasee to the little towns. We could hike at the Jack Rabbit Mountain trail and walk down to the lake so the location was quite good but there was no mountain views from the deck or the front.
We booked and payed for 2 nights and the second evening the power went out and never came back on. We contacted the booking, the contact we were given, and no one answered back. We lost power and water was cut so no water, no plumbing. It was scary as well with branches fallen on the gravel driveway. I dragged them to the side and we ended up leaving as soon as the storm stopped. It could have been a nice stay but it ended up leaving us feeling like we got ripped off. The cost of the place does not match the service. Why wouldn't they have a generator for such situations when taking so much money per night?
