First and foremost: The view! Holy smokes, the view! The pictures don't do it justice! Also, the location is perfect! The town is very vertical, and it's super close to the old town and the sea. If you're going to Villefranche-sur-Mer to explore those areas by foot, then you'll want to be as close to the water as you can get to avoid a lot of trudging up and down steep hills. Everything was comfortable and clean. If I ever have the pleasure of returning I will definitely try to stay here again! Also, the host was very accommodating and communicative. We flew in to Nice, then took a train to Villefranche-sur-Mer, and she was very willing to allow us to store our bags while it was cleaned which was wonderful!
The only "con" has nothing to do with the place, it's just that the nearest large grocery store is about a 20-25 minute walk, up steps for most of it. We cooked quite a bit, otherwise we would have been fine just grabbing snacks from town or the other nearby smaller markets.
