The house was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely homely touches. The newly modernised kitchen was fantastic with everything you could need. The garden was well kept and lovely for sitting out in. The beds were so comfortable that everyone slept very well.
The couches were uncomfortable and left us all with sore backs. The shower in the main bathroom did not work well, with very poor water pressure. The toilet seat was broken too.

Lovely location. Nice sized garden including summer house. Right next to the river.
Comfy beds.
Fireplace and wood provided.
Shower pressure not great

Beautiful house, and beautiful location.
There is an active wasps nest in the house. We tried to alert the homeowner via the recommended contact, and the agency (separate to Booking.com) and we had initial contact saying "leave it with me". We didn't hear anything back until the next day. We found "wasp spray" in the kitchen - leading us to believe this is a known problem. Not good!! The Ensuite bedroom, the bunk-bed room, and bathroom were very cramped.
