Older resort but clean and friendly. Would stay here again!

Great little place to stay. Contactless check- in but staff available and friendly.

The shower water temperature kept on changing. It would get cold all of sudden. Also, when it snowed a lot in Red River, it was difficult to drive out from the place. The driveway was too slippery and needed some sand or de icer salt on the ground. Also, if you have lots of luggage, second floor is definitely not recommended. There is only narrow stairway that takes you to the upstairs rooms.

I stayed in room 1 which does not look like the room in the photo. Pros: None Cons: Soundproofing Issues: The walls were so thin that I could hear everything happening in neighboring rooms, from intimate moments to conversations and television noise. Cramped Bathroom: The bathroom was tiny, measuring a mere 5' x 6'. Additionally, there was no bathroom fan, making it feel stuffy and uncomfortable. Inconvenient Mirror: The bathroom mirror was positioned at a height suitable for someone around 5 feet tall, rendering it practically unusable for taller individuals like myself. Lack of Hot Water and Water Pressure: With a 7:30am start to my day, I was met with no hot water or water pressure. I had to shower in the afternoon when other guests were away from the property. Disruptive Furnace Noise: Throughout the night, the furnace repeatedly shut off with a bang, reminiscent of a gunshot. This disruptive noise made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Opinion: This establishment falls far short of the standards expected from a hotel listed on reputable platforms like hotels.com. In fact, I question whether it even meets the basic requirements for lodging, even for resort employees. The $90 per night price is unjustified given the myriad of issues I encountered. I would strongly advise against staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Great place! The owner is not on premises but was very friendly and responsive. The exterior could definitely use some work but these owners said they've only had the place a few years so give them time. Driveway and access to walkways/steps were a bit icy. We managed fine but we saw another family helping an older person who was very unstable on the ice. Maybe throwing down some gravel would help. Inside, the place was very cozy and well-stocked with plates, dishware, etc. Bed was decent enough. Gave 4/5 eco stars for a Kureig machine (vs an actual coffee maker) but no huge deal there. Would definitely stay here again.
