The Carriage House Inn was a gem of a find in the accommodation world. It has a delightful characteristic with spacious seating areas to sit and read or write. The building and room were super clean, tidy and inviting. It’s a quiet setting too which I enjoyed. If traveling this route again needing a place to stay in this part of the province, this Inn will definitely get the nod! 😊

Self checkin was easy. As soon as reservation was made they text me with directions. Very clean. It was unexpected overnight stay, I didn’t have my slippers I found my feet were cold. It didn’t say on booking site that it was continental breakfast during off season, so I was a little disappointed about that because I’ve stayed there before and had fabulous breakfasts. In saying that there was a wonderful selection for breakfast, perked coffee would have made a world of difference.

This is the perfect property for introverts. The management sends you a text message with your room number and you walk in and go straight to your room. When you leave, you drop your key in a basket and go. Perfect!
There was a sitting area outside our room but the area was unheated and not comfortable. Our bathroom was also quite cold, with cold air actively coming out of the shower drain. The property is lovely otherwise and in a nice location.

This is a lovely cross between a B&B and a motel. I only saw my room, which was cosy, but I believe there are more spacious rooms available. The staff was incredibly friendly and went to the trouble of tracking me down when I left an item behind. It is the kind of place where you can socialize with other travelers or keep to yourself, whichever you want. It's nice to support a local operation instead of a chain. I will stay here again next time I come to town.

We were in Room 6 at the top of the stairs which was not the quietest area. Room was smaller than anticipated. Very nice place otherwise. Tks.

We were greeted like special guests! The inn is extremly well layed out and upgraded to a high standard. Met the owners for breakfast which they cooked to order and served. Special people dedicated and went above! This was the best stay of our 10 day visit,,,very highly recomend!!!!!!!!!

We loved this property. The bed was comfortable, the room was a generous size, the ensuite was great. Breakfast was in a large dining area with a few tables. We sat and chatted with other guests. Our order was taken for breakfast and brought to the table. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I had a lovely stay. The room we had was adequate for an overnight stay and was extremely clean which my wife is so particular. If we were to stay again we would upgrade to a larger room. Breakfast had a vast array to choose from including a cooked breakfast and was included in the price which was a bonus. Don’t waste money on large hotel prices, just book in here.

The Inn is very nice and cute. The room is very small. There are a couple of common areas guests can use to read books and magazines provided by the Inn, which is charming.

Nice house in a pleasant neighborhood. Unfortunately, dining options are limited in town and there appeared to be no staff on site when we arrived around 4pm. I received notification that our room would be unlocked and we would find our key inside, this is not what I’m used to. A young lady made us breakfast in the morning but there was no one really “in charge” in the building. Otherwise, the room was nice and clean and breakfast was good.

It’s an older building so everything is noisy. It is a very nice place and quiet. I would stay there again.
