The place, view and the area. Privacy and nice guests with us, polite and friendly.
It was not clean as I expected, the was a very bad smell and dry blood on one of the throws. We managed to make the most of our and made sure we cleaned when we left even though we paid for cleaning.

The location is very good, close to amenities, but private. The ocean view is exceptional and the house is very comfortable and well laid out with enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is generally well appointed and we enjoyed the stay a lot.
Kitchen equipment, i.e. pots and pans in particular, were not in very good condition and not really sufficient to cater for the number of people the property can accommodate.
The absence of cupboards/wardrobes in the bedrooms is a bother when one stays a few nights as you are forced to live out of your suitcase;
The simultaneous occupation of the cottage/flat by other guests is not ideal and caused some parking limitations.

Stunning view! Beautiful house! Friendly host! Had a problem with the wi-fi at some point and a technician was arranged by the host and it was attended to it within 30minutes. Properly equipped with plenty glasses, cutlery etc. Will most definitely book again! Although we noted concerns by previous guests about location of the property and pedestrian traffic, we never felt unsafe and pedestrian traffic not busy at all despite the long weekend.
The nr provided for the host is only for WhatsApp messages and can not be dialed. This is not indicated on the booking website and caused unnecessary panic iro the validity of the host. Once I got hold of the host by what’s app, everything was sorted and handled properly and professionally.

View from patio was spectacular. Granny flat is cute, quaint and well equipped. We found the premises clean and nicely stocked kitchen. The complimentary rusks were delicious and the marshmallow eggs were appreciated. We had a nice stay.
Poor people's skills from managers/owners with our concerns. They were defensive and unempathetic towards us finding a snake in the one bedroom (not their fault but no help nor information offered) and the sliding and trellidors doors being difficult to open/close. Images can be misleading, make sure you understand if your’e booking the villa or the granny flat. There is a R1000 surcharge for cleaning fees which was not disclosed in seen price, but added at payment. Unsavoury area close by so lock up at all times.
