Family Hotel - White House Racha

We really enjoyed our stay of 2 nights in White House Racha (rather a guesthouse than a hotel). The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Taki, the online booking manager, communicates very quickly and proactively in English. The elder lady, who manages everything on location and who lives in the house, doesn't speak English. But she knows how to use Google Translate - so communication went slow but very well! The elder lady makes huge efforts to make guests feel comfortable. She also served us us delicious breakfast and dinner (upon our request), all fresh and home-made, for a very fair price: absolutely recommended! Since meals in Georgia are generally large in size, of course the meals the host served us were wayyy too much for us. But we were happy to keep and use some leftovers for the next day. Note, that breakfast in Georgia typically also comprises spicy warm dishes, which Europeans are not used to, so carefully consider if you "need" that. The second day breakfast we asked only for her fresh pancakes with honey, which were fantastic, and sufficient for us already :)

There is nothing to dislike really, for people being used to basic rural accommodations. A small disadvantage might be the poor insulation and heating in the guest rooms, so they can become quite chilly already in autumn. Also, we would like to suggest setting up some bedside table lights: a small measure for a great improvement of comfort and atmosphere.

Beautiful location with a river and gorgeous mountains, absolute tranquility.Very comfortable guest house, clean rooms with all the necessary supplies and kitchenette., super hospitable host Nelly.

No public transport, you have to make special arrangements to get to the central town Oni. Tiny little grocery shop with limited supplies. Think twice, if you want to risk and try to make a trip using public transport)))

Amazing place, new euro refurbished apartments with big and comfortable bed. Good advice for local restaurant which is very close.

Der eigene Balkon vor dem Zimmer war leider noch im Baustadium. Moskitoschutz vor den Fenstern und im Bad wäre nützlich
