We had a magnificent stay at this beautiful property. Our group consisted of seven people—four adults and three young boys—and the house was perfect for our family.Every room was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and both the house and gardens were absolutely breathtaking. We especially enjoyed our daily walks around the property, exploring the fruit trees, herb gardens, and the surrounding natural beauty. The amenities were exceptional, including a heated pool, multiple terraces for grilling, dining, or simply enjoying a glass of wine, and a well-appointed laundry room that made our stay even more comfortable. From the reservation process to communication with the owner and property manager, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Even meeting the neighbors added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our vacation truly felt like a French countryside dream. We spent our days visiting châteaux, savoring the incredible local food and wine, and taking in the stunning scenery of the region. This was a memorable experience from start to finish, and we would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a relaxing and authentic French getaway.

The property was very well equipped with everything we needed. Great bedrooms and bathrooms and excellent kitchen. Pool was very nice and welcome during very hot days. Easy to get to Saint Genies and Montignac and other nearby villages. Would have liked a larger TV in lounge to watch the Olympics, and a satellite connection that worked. Florence, who prepared and greeted us, was delightful.

Apart from an mis communication between the owner and the housekeeper re our arrival - which was quickly sorted out stay was faultless. The property oozes French charm and luxury with all the amenities that you require. The bedroom are spacious and extremely comfortable all with en-suite’s. The pool was lovely with a large shallow area for the young children. Florence the housekeeper was lovely and on hand to answer our questions. The property’s very remote with nothing within walking distance - however many lovely places to visit within a 40 min drive. The historic town of Sarlet only about 15min away is a must to visit and has a large supermarket petrol station shopping restaurants etc. But if you’re looking for peace and relaxation this is most definitely the place.

Houses and yard is perfect, the landscape is perfect too, we enjoy it. Dishes and pans are fine. The contact to the house keepers was very well, both speak perfect English. Really bad was: We’ve had cold days and want use the pool, remember there is an offered pool heater, but it doesn’t work good. The temp raised up 1-2 degrees, means it wasn’t useable!! In summer no problem, in the seasons between... There was an ash fragrant in several rooms. At arrival we found a the ashes from the last usages in the open fireplace. Only in the main house (with the kitchen and the living room) is Internet/ Wi-Fi. Poor in the yard and it doesn't exist in the extended house (3 floors, 7 sleeps). Be aware, if you need it. SumUp, we select that houses based on the descriptions and we learn.... double check the information, c’est la vie
