Loved the host, Marie auntie, she's such an hardworking woman and a very caring person. The location was perfect, not too close to the city that It's chaotic, but not too far either, about 200lkr to the city center. It's calm, quiet, and very natural sub-urb.

Gave a real “home” stay experience like living with a family. The presence of the family’s hens and dog & cat added charm to the place. To sit and watch them stroll around the garden as I sipped my coffee in the verandah gave a very settled and restful feeling. The hostess was wonderful - caring and asking often if I needed anything without being instrusive. They handled it like I was a real guest and not just a commercial source of revenue. There is some sound (just conversations and comings and goings - nothing loud or disturbing) from the main family home to this room. For me this was a plus point as it made me feel connected - otherwise one can feel isolated when traveling alone. Will probably go back again someday.

nothing to dislike.
