The location is close to airport and Accra Mall | Spintex. Also, the hotel surroundings are lovely and well secured. However, the hotel is not known to taxi drivers. They are charging for breakfast. So, can increase the selection and make it wholesome. The hostess, Catherine is very friendly and helpful

Hotel not suitable for business travelers. Wifi signal very poor and gets disconnected often. The room does not have sufficient power sockets for multiple gadget charging. Rooms at ground level should have more privacy. The bathroom window is transparent to people using swimming pool access from adjacent rooms.

I usually never write reviews but I really wanted to for the Winford. I was visiting Ghana for work and Joseph, Catherine (hope I spell your name right!) and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. And I did! Looking forward to staying with you guys again next time I visit Ghana. Highly recommend staying here

It was 15mins drive from airport

Where do I start? They tried to charge us for more than we had booked. They also took a copy of our passport and then proceeded to say they didn’t have a card machine. They then insisted that they take a picture of my bank card to send to the owner and manager via WhatsApp. When I refused because of the obvious issue of not wanting a complete stranger to have access to my card details, the owner/manager proceeded to kidnap us by instructing staff to lock the main doors on myself, my husband, and my 15 month and 4 month old babies. We were left outside where there were mosquitoes everywhere with the security refusing to let us out. They would not even allow myself and the kids to go inside to avoid them being bitten. We ended up calling the Ghana police to resolve the unfair and criminal treatment. How this place is on here is abysmal! It took over 5 hours to resolve in the case which cost us over £200, and we ended up booking another hotel locally to stay there. And the man still insisted on paying him. Honestly the worst day of my life! Truly a horrible human being that owns and manages the place!

Everything was perfect

A lovely place to stay with great staff. I was picked from the airport at no extra cost. Very clean and secure location.

The breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, eggs, and white pineapple

The transport from the airport to the hotel left without me as it took too long for me to retrieve my luggage from the luggage carousel.

This is an excellent accommodation option close to the airport. Under new management and with friendly warm staff, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel as I had an overnight layover. The location is about 15 minutes from the airport. The area where the hotel is based is a safe area where many embassies are located. The rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated. Highly recommend.

Mr. Joseph gave me & my family a special dinner treat for free. This was exceptional customer service. I will sing the praise of the management of the facility to my friends & colleagues. I had an unforgettable experience.

They gott me from airport .close by . Make some to eat late .in evening i had everday clean bed with new sheets en badroom en room .to lay lott in pool enjoy nice weather in evening i drink a beer with friend i met there sitting outside .enjoy the view . Look around in accra .. real good time hope next year to be back i like people are friendly.

The property is not correctly located on Google Maps and should be adjusted. It’s tricky using taxis when they can’t search for the correct location.

The rooms were neat. The beds were comfortable. The room temperature was very nice since there were air conditioners in both rooms. They had a variety of options for the breakfast as well. Both bathroom and toilet were clean. The staff service was great. The owners were kind. Overall 9/10 experience.
