Nothing

The location was excellent, just a few minutes from Syntagma Square and very close to the metro, which made getting around Athens and traveling to the airport extremely convenient. Check-in was very easy, the apartment was very clean, and communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the terrace. It had a beautiful view of the Acropolis, two sun loungers, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the city. You could even sunbathe during the day and enjoy the sunset from the far right side of the terrace. The bathroom was also very good, with excellent water pressure, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was extremely convenient for restaurants, bars, shops, and public transportation.

The main issues for us were the lighting and the noise. The lighting inside the apartment was extremely bright and very white, which felt harsh and uncomfortable at night. The terrace lighting was also very strong and cool-toned, which took away from the relaxing and romantic atmosphere and sometimes made the space feel almost clinical. Softer, warmer yellow lighting would make a big difference, especially on the terrace. The second issue was the noise. Because of the very central location, there was live music nearby until around 10 PM, and early in the morning we could also hear street activity and garbage collection. This is understandable given the location, but light sleepers should be aware of it. There was also a noticeable police and security presence in the surrounding area, which made the atmosphere feel a little unusual at times.

The view and balcony.

We woke up with 20 plus ants in our bed. There were no other ants in the apartment. The host took care of the issue promptly.

Location was excellent. Very clean and spacious.amazing view.
