Our favourite stay in Hokkaido. My parents really loved the interior and decor, it greatly reminded them of their childhood homes with wood furniture and vintage music players. The kitchen is really spacious and comfortable. Comes with a washer and dryer. Location is excellent, a short drive or bus ride from most of the major attractions and food places, such as the fish market and red brick warehouses. At the end of a long day out, we can conveniently park in front of the house and walk straight back in. The house has comfortable sofas and a TV, and we can lounge, listen to some music to unwind, or watch a show. Great place.

If you have problems climbing stairs, do note that the sleeping areas are upstairs, while the toilet is downstairs. Older folks or those with physical issues should consider if this will be a problem.

A great house with some really interesting touches of musical style. The location seems 'empty' by day but we found the best cocktail bar EVER (Jey's) and a brilliant Izakaya (alleyway opposite Lawsons) both, both within a 2 minute walk. All just a 10 minute walk of the station and Central area. If you want a business hotel this isn't for you. If you want somewhere interesting and comfortable then this could be just the place
