It was cheap

It was a slum. There were drug addicts that stayed up until 2-3 am , my service alerted me to them all night. The room was gross. The carpet was stained and smelled like smoke.

The room entry door had been pried open at some time before as the frame was bowed and you could see the hall lights thru the opening. The opening was about 4 feet tall and 1/2 of an inch wide from forced entry. There was no wash cloth, one towel and one hand towel in the room. The bathroom doorknob was broken on the outside and paper stuffed into the latch hole so the door would not latch and could not be opened at all if latched. This motel rents by the month and has lots of transients standing around the building. I should have read the reviews before making a non refundable purchase and stayed at another motel.

Booking.com gave the option to put my ETA, and they have options for 12:00-1:00 AM or 1:00-2:00 AM, but their checkin desk actually closes at midnight, so make sure you get there before then
