We had such a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the charm of Lake Como. The accommodation was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our host, Zdenca, was an absolute gem! She was so kind, warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She kindly picked us up from the train station and even took us to the supermarket to get some shopping. Such a thoughtful gesture that we genuinely appreciated. Her hospitality really made us feel at home. And we can’t forget her adorable cat, who was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! It even joined us for a little picnic outside, which was such a lovely moment. The walks up and down the hills of Vezio certainly kept us fit, but it was all part of the experience! We loved the peaceful surroundings, the beautiful views and the opportunity to explore Lake Como. We left with beautiful memories and so much gratitude. Thank you, Zdenca, for going above and beyond to make our stay so special. We would absolutely recommend this place and would happily return! ❤️

My stay at Casa Caravino was absolutely wonderful. The view from the top is genuinely breathtaking — the photos simply don’t do it justice. The location alone is something special, and it was the perfect place to slow down, switch off from technology and simply relax and take everything in. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and had everything I needed and felt incredibly peaceful, but what made the stay even more memorable was Zdenka. She is such a warm, kind and genuinely caring person. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel so welcome and went out of her way to make sure I had a wonderful stay. Her recommendations and advice were incredibly helpful and made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. Between the incredible views, peaceful atmosphere and Zdenka’s hospitality, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend Casa Caravino without hesitation. An easy 10/10!

The only thing worth being aware of is that reaching the accommodation involves a 10–15 minute uphill walk, which could be a little challenging with a large suitcase. I fortunately had a rucksack, which made it much easier. I’d recommend good walking shoes and packing with the walk in mind. That said, once you reach the top, the view makes every step worth it! Otherwise there was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Everything was perfect. We were escorted to our beautiful apartment. The view is amazing. Our fridge was stocked. Wine on the table. Nothing was too much trouble. Our host was exceptional

Initial walk up to our apartment was pretty tough with our bags. From then on the walking was fine, but it is a rough, goat track. There is no other way to get there.....but its worth the view. Just be aware.

The view was absolutely spectacular and Zdenka was a delightful host. Zdenka helped carry my bag and provided us with some food items. It felt like an authentic villa atop Lake Como.

The accessibility was not for the faint hearted. We also had bad weather so we were not able to come and go as we would have liked.
