Hotel La Boutique

There is a lift so you don't have to lug your baggage up the stairs. Parking on the street nearby. Restuarant on-site and is very good. Room was roomy with nice bathroom. Wi-fi was good.

There was a light on the balcony that I could not shut off. It was on a sensor and would turn on at night.

Absolutely amazing room on the top floor of this little boutique hotel; left nothing to be desired. Very tastefully decorated. Spacious, practical...absolutely fabulous. Parking on the premises with no extra charge was very helpful.

There is really nothing to note. The location was perfect for us because we were visiting Radbound University. You wouldn't walk to the city center, but there is a bus stop right across the street, and the hotel offers bikes to rent.

We liked pretty much everything. The family room felt spacious and comfortable; the temperature of the room was pleasant for us (outside was around 28C). The breakfast was good (including eg. cold slices, cheese, vegetables, bread, bacon, crumbled eggs, yoghurt) and quiet. The hotel has a few private parking spaces; parking on the streets required pay only Mon-Fri 8-16 if I recall correctly. There is no EV charging at the hotel, but there are multiple public chargers in the vicinity - including at least one fast charger. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, which we really liked. There is a large supermarket nearby, 5-10 minutes by walking.

Apparently Booking.com does something wrong when making the reservation - we were only booked for 2 persons even though the page before making the reservation said 4 persons, and had to pay a little extra when checking in. This is completely Booking.coms fault, though, and the hotel handled this with utmost respect. For some, the location of the hotel might feel a bit far from the city center, but on the other hand it is peaceful.

We stayed here for 1 night. For this price we expected a room that would be dark and silent to recover from a journey. Unfortunately the room wasn't dark because a lot of light enters through the curtains. Even at night the street lights illuminate the room and in the morning the sunlight enters the room entirely. There was also a lot of noise, even though the other guests were respectful. You could hear water running, doors closing, vending machines, ... Luckily we took earplugs, otherwise the room is too noisy to sleep well. The pillows also aren't the best. Parking spaces are limited so you need to pay to park in the street.
