We absolutely loved Shepherd's Delight, it's one of the most peaceful places we've stayed in. We drifted off to sleep listening to faraway owls hooting, and woke to birdsong. Magical. It was so warm and comfortable, and felt nice and private with its own outside space. There were some lovely touches like the handy bathrobes, as well as the surprise goodies we found in the fridge - we were delighted with all of it.
We can't think of anything to improve it!

Absolutely love this hidden gem! So peaceful, secluded and relaxing. Love being able to escape all the stresses that life can throw at you in this amazing tiny Shepherd's hut. Will be back again soon!

A secluded getaway situated in an ideal location to explore so many different aspects of the area.
The accommodation is welcoming, clean, very comfortable and well equipped.

Excellent location for a quiet rural stay, and very nicely equipped for a couple. The private area around the hut is very nice for eating outdoors in summer. And I've never come across anywhere else so well provided with a range of books as this hut!
Nothing really - be aware that the bathroom is a very tight space for a large lady, and that the footpaths down to Tintern are overgrown and difficult to follow. The walk down the road is pleasant, though.
