Everything was as advertised and we couldn’t have asked for more. The house was perfect and the hosts were fantastic

The property overall was really great for the price. It is about 20-25 minutes away from Anna Maria island beaches and it was easy to travel to other beaches like Lido Beach, Siesta Key, etc. Parking at those beaches is not easy, so leave very early to get a spot or plan to go later and see the sunset. We were also here during prime time spring break, which accounts for the crowds. The pool wasn't very clean when we arrived, and although the house rules indicated that the pool is cleaned weekly, it was not cleaned at all during our 1 week stay. The pool is also not heated, so it was a bit chilly.We also had a lot of issues operating the induction cook top. After cooking for about 20 minutes, it would turn off all of the burners and flash "H" on all burners, which indicated that the cook top was still hot after cooking. Since this was happening before we were finished cooking, then Google says it could have been a malfunction in the sensor or the pots were not correct for the unit. The hot water does take some time to reach the showers, so plan accordingly. The location, although centralized is in a quiet working-class area. It isn't really walking distance to any boutiques or other fun stores. There are also no sidewalks in the neighborhood, which makes taking evening walks quite tretorous. Otherwise, the house was more than enough space for our family of 6 and the kids still really enjoyed the pool. The hosts were super nice and very quick to respond!

I rented the house for three days . My son was getting engaged on Anna Maria so it was close by. My two sons and one daughter in law were there for one day with me. After the celebrations at the beach, everyone flew right back and I wanted to stay and to relax and enjoy the pool.The owner and his wife were nice but a bit intrusive in showing up the day before I was to leave to “check on supplies”I explained I didn’t need anything but they insisted on coming into the garage..and then the laundry room, and then the kitchen. Obviously they were there to check the house. But I was now staying there alone and felt uncomfortable with that. So much for my relaxing day off. :-( I stayed a little longer but ended up packing up and leaving that afternoon. The house was nice. Very clean and yes, well supplied. The neighborhood was not nice. It is very close to Sarasota airport and a short drive to Anna Maria. Also...note to owners: There’s a bit of a steep decline at the end of the driveway and it was scraping up the bottom of my car whenever I pulled out. I left one sandal in the bedroom, the hosts were very nice and UPS'd it to me.

We enjoyed our 4-day stay at this house! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. We traveled with an 18 mo old so this review is based around guidance for those with younger kids. Mauro is a great host! He was great with communication and expectations for the guests were set very clearly. The neighborhood the house is located in appears a little unsavory (unkept yards, curb appeal lacking) but if you look beyond appearances, everything was quiet and calm. The house was well taken care of and they have plenty of cleaning/laundry supplies for you to use during your stay. There is a clearly marked step down in the house near the back door/bunk bed room that can be tricky for small ones. The kitchen was a good set up and had basic items. They had plenty of utensils, plates, bowls (unless you want bowls deep enough for a normal serving of cereal) and cups! The inside dining areas had all bar stool seating, so make sure to bring a booster seat or high chair. The couch in the living room has a low back so my 18 mo old was able to flip the cushions off the back and almost went with it. The bathrooms were great (especially the shower in the small bathroom) but we weren’t able to get the tub faucet to work to bathe our daughter. We all enjoyed the shower though and the towels were soft and fluffy! The pool and lanai were AMAZING with lots of seating and a beautiful yard! The lizards kept us entertained too! We definitely would recommend this house for your next vacation!
