This is an UNMANNED site. No one answered our calls. When we tried to use the lockbox, it turned out they had given us the wrong code.. we only learnt that after waiting 30 minutes for them to answer. It was a call centre in Queensland. NO Barossa charm whatsoever. No other tourists around. It is clearly foreign owned and scalping ignorant tourists. The person on the phone from interstate lied and said they were contacting the onsite manager. There WAS no onsite manager. They would not let us in 2 hours early even though the place was deserted (and admittedly clean, they clean the rooms in the morning). So we had to leave our bags in the car locked out and go out for the day. No apology or discount. Do not stay here, the facilities are from the 90s and it is like a horror film. Also taxis dont come out here because it is so isolated so we literally waited two hours for a taxi.

Nothing

The operators want copies of ID docs emailed to them less than 24 hours before arrival. This is not acceptable, and an unnecessary invasion of my privacy. Property is very poorly maintained, no-one on site, impossible to communicate with operators. I demand a full refund ! Refer photos - rotten steps a safety hazard - empty water bottle dumped - garden not watered and edging rotten - grass growing in gutter - deplorable !

Absolutely perfect. As always. This is our favourite place to stay in Barossa and we will be back soon indeed.

Hearing the birds in the morning was lovely.

There was NO breakfast! Very disappointing as it was good last time I came there and that was one of the reasons I booked this time. Please put it back on your offer. I feel like I paid for something I didn't get!

TV not responding to remote. Presume dead batteries. Radios never very good out there.

The location was perfect in middle of Barossa Valley. First time we stayed in a vineyard. The vineyard looked lovely and the accommodation was complete and comfortable.

Cosy and self contained.

Freezer was over frozen. 2 towells and bedsheets for the whole 9 nights.

Great having a spa bath. Lovely location.

The logs for the fire needed to be smaller and kindling needed to be provided so we could have a decent fire.

The privacy and scenic location. The cosy accommodation just perfect for away from home work stays.

The peacefull surroundings were amazing. And so close to stuff but far enough away to be quiet. The cows and the birds in themorning was great. Sitting out on the balcony enjoying the view. The light outside weregreat. And the sunset views from the hill were so good.

The bed is very hard but okay. The cuoboards in the kitchen are to close to the entry we almost knocked our head everytime. The lightingin the bathroom was not good or the fan. No flow through ventillation. And the tv is too small for the distance from the couch. The couch was not comfy. The grounds need to be looked after better

The setting was very quiet & peaceful. The location was so close to all the wineries we visited. Kitchenette was serviceable and well set out. The breakfast supplies were very much appreciated. I would recommend this retreat for both the location & surrounds.

I think changing the triangular spa is something to consider if deciding to change the bathroom. It can be quite a falls risk especially getting out of it and if you angle the shower head just a little it can flood the whole room out!

Neglected garden - dessicated lawn, stressed plants

My apartment was very clean and comfy, yes the bed is not cosy but its ok...and on a nicer, less windy day than I experienced, it would be perfect sitting outside having a glass or two of wine overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside. Id be happy to come and stay here again.

Breakfast provisions are unimaginative and ill thought out. I didnt bother with it as I brought my own food. Surely a couple of packets of cereal are more acceptable than a half used packet of awful pancake mix? What genius came up with that idea??? WOEFUL! and sadly I think when reading the reviews this is the greatest bugbear from your guests and yet NOTHING has been done to change it. Please, get rid of dead flies in the window frames prior to guests arrival.

Location

Lack of personal representation on site. Some of the ammenities could have been cleaner. No instructions on rubbish disposal.

The place was clean and tidy but the garden and lawns looked like they need water.

Dealing with Booking.com as there was an issue with the booking.

No breakfast provided, unless standard tea/coffee and a small packet of potato crisps equaled breakfast.

Facilities, especially outside are very tired and unkempt. W3 sat in the bbq area (to have a glass of wine away from some very noisy guests) and this area had not been cleaned at all. Quite sad really because it had some potential, but the bin hadn’t been emptied, the table and chairs were covered in bird graffiti and spiders etc abounded.

The scenery and the tranquility. Very relaxing.

Lack of communication, requested toilet paper but they never got back to us. Clothes dryer filter needs to be clean- fire hazard. Gardens and b.b.q. areas need tending.

Central location

Poor water flow/temp control in shower
