Villa Tokay - The Luxury Resort

We stayed at Villa Tokay for three nights on our honeymoon and had a lovely time. As soon as we arrived the team was welcoming and helpful, showing us around the property and giving us tips for exploring the island. We loved our room and enjoyed the breakfast and food at the restaurant. The communal pool area was great and the staff were extremely attentive. The bicycles and snorkels were a fab addition and we made good use of them! We were upgraded to a pool villa for the final night.

Our room had an open shower and thatched roof, two features we loved, however it did mean the soundproofing wasn’t great and the local roosters and noise from the restaurant/pool did carry into the room.

Sleeping arrangement upstairs and having to walk outside and downstairs for toilet / sink. But by no means would that put us off going again! It was a beautiful room!

Wi-Fi andava e veniva, mai stabile. Chiesto upgrade in camera con piscina di una sola categoria superiore rispetto alla camera sunset prenotata perché vista disponibile online, loro hanno preso tempo, l’hanno tolta dalle disponibilità e “offerto” prima upgrade in una villa da 4 persone ad una tariffa spropositata. Poi quando hanno visto che io ho fatto gli screenshot e la camera con piscina privata veniva poco di più rispetto a quello che avevo pagato, l’hanno tolta alle vendite e mi hanno proposto un free upgrade di una sola notte nella stanza che avevo segnalato. Non volevo nulla gratis ma nemmeno essere presa in giro. Il prezzo che ho pagato per 4 notti non valeva quella camera.
