Togias Hotel

Wow. What a location. Spectacular views from our room.

The location is perfect. Very close to the ferry port and right behind the bus stops I use everyday to discover the island. My room was looking at the port and sea, so beautiful view. Also lightened, and not afraid to walk alone when I got back late. Owner is very kind and polite gentleman, informing you with a print out summary map of the island, giving useful recommendations. After check out, I could keep my luggage at hotel, you need to use public loo since no toilets available at floors apart from the ones in the rooms, yet it is very clean and almost 1 mins to the hotel. Its a classic Greek building that gives a tourist that authentic vibe. I enjoyed drinking my wine at my room resting towards the beautiful view before I go out.

Wouldn't call as a dislike yet a bit of renovation would be nice for the rooms as shower faucet, curtains, the fridge, chairs at balcony etc. Double bed would be good instead of two single beds next to each. + Apart from hotel, if you are from a non eu country, I would recommend you check with your bank on swift cost because a downpayment will be required and it might cost as half of the price of the room /day. These are the things if you are picky, yet very friendly and easy way to stay.

Loved the laidback, minimalist vibe of this place. Amazing value, and an even lovelier owner, Togias. It’s a 10-15 min walk to some of the most beautiful beaches, and just 5 min to the port’s restaurants and shops.

Perhaps a shower curtain or a more contained showerhead might help keep the bathroom from getting so wet, but honestly it’s a minor thing the bathroom itself is quite lovely

Sea view from our balcony was great

Beds were rock hard - had to buy mattress topper and pillows. Also car hire and motorbike hire immediately outside which meant vacuum cleaners and vehicle movements all day. Also immediately outside was a large playground for children.
