Gouves Waterpark Holiday Resort

Overall-the service was good, there was a wide variety of pools and f&b offering was quiet decent, considering the all inclusive plan

1. Meat was overcooked, which is quite disappointing as it looked good before tasting. 2. Not enough real traditional Greek cuisine dishes, and it felt like the concept is to satisfy the British and German tourists taste with their own local dishes. 3. We've been given the option to book a seat to one of the "special" restaurants for dinner (Greek/Asian). Unfortunately, there were no available spots in a time that is suitable for children, and the clerk told us that we should have booked in advance prior arrival, but no one informed us before our staying.

The food is very good The rooms get cleaned everyday Towels changed daily Many pools Comfortable beds

The gluten free options are very poor The bartenders are not nice at all

What we loved most about the hotel was the amazing selection of water slides and pools, which kept both the kids and adults entertained. The buffet was excellent, with a huge variety of food and plenty of choices for everyone. We also really enjoyed the activities and entertainment for the children. Overall, everything felt very well-maintained, modern, new and exceptionally clean. You can really feel the effort that goes into keeping the hotel in great condition. We had a wonderful family stay and would definitely recommend it!

There were a few things that we felt could be improved. The swimming pools are not heated, and the water was quite cold despite the warm weather outside. We also felt that the pools opened relatively late at 11:00 AM. For families with young children, this is already quite late, especially when nap time is around 12:30 PM. The room could also use more storage space. There were not many practical storage solutions for a family staying with young children. The entertainment shows performed by the animation team felt quite amateurish at times, and some of the shows were not really suitable for young children. Another small point was the selection of soft drinks. We would have appreciated having familiar branded options such as Pepsi or Coca-Cola. Overall, these are relatively minor points, but improving them would make the experience even better for families with young children.

It’s got what you need - nothing majorly to complain about

It’s not five stars, pretty basic amenities.
