The location is great.

I stayed in a room in the extra building. While the room itself was adequate, the view onto a supplier stock room meant early morning wake-ups. Additionally, the inability to fully close the curtains and the annoyingly bright light directly outside were not ideal. My advise for families with young children don’t book here due to loud music blasting until around 9 pm (or so).

The location is perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. We received an upgrade from a ground floor room to a room on the third floor, so had lovely views of the marina from the balcony.

Location

The fact I upgraded and paid more for ocean side but I don’t think it was worth it. The only ocean I could see was if I looked through next doors balcony. So if they were on it I wouldn’t want to look .. so wasn’t right.

comfy quiet room at rear, great cleaning staff and reception. good communication via mobile from hotel. Handy to everything, port, shops, beach, bus etc. No hills to negotiate, handy if you are on foot

Warm welcome. Excellent location overlooking sandy bay, close to town lagoon. All facilities seemed to be available at the “Pub” bar and restaurant on ground floor. Yellow crested cockatoo joined us for some breakfast on balcony.

Member of staff at restaurant below simply dismissed us when we asked for a table for two, stating that if we did not have a reservation then there would be no possibility of eating as they were fully booked… yet many tables were free. Also, once again, we seem to have had an inferior room (very small balcony compared to adjoining rooms, sea view obstructed by trees) even though we had selected the best room type available via booking.com. This booking came with high “genius” discount, which, from past experience, equates to getting one of the lesser rooms at the location.
