Lovely host and son running the property with a great Cafe Verandah below with beautiful views over the little bay where we swam each day. They also sorted out a misunderstanding about the room/view and relocated us to an available room (at upgrade cost).

The descriptions of the various rooms is unclear. We understandably mistook a description of a sea view as the genuine view of the bay and not a view over a car park and a glimpse of the sea over another building because that room was in a more distant annexe. But they helped with changing to different rooms at an upgrade cost but beware this is not clearly enough expressed in the descriptions or pictures.

The most incredible view & position. An absolutely phenomenal spot. Seriously could not get better. Go down the stairs & into the magnificent bay. Ladders are placed all around the bay so easily accessible from all sides. Bring goggles if you want a good view underneath the water. Super salty so floating is easy. A great tiny village to stay in whilst exploring the rest of the amazing island. You will need to hire a car from the port or the airport in advance. Only way to get around & definitely worth it. Drakakis rental were fabulous to deal with & very well priced. The roads are narrow & windy so take your time. Plenty of taverns to eat at in Avlemonas or just outside of the village. Great mini mart also there if you wanted to get some basic supplies. Everyone super friendly & welcoming. The apartment was super clean & well equipped with a kitchenette & washing line & balcony. Note, no laundry facilities.

Having to leave!

Veranda itself nice to sit...! Smoothies also nice.

Veranda people okay but father is a giant fan of NOISES! EVEN TALKING LOUDLY TO HIS....CAR... Pfff.
