Delfini

We loved staying at Delfini and thought of it as our home away from home. The highlights for us were the warm and welcoming hospitality, exceptional sunset views from the restaurant balcony and the fabulous food served at the restaurant. We swam daily in the sea at the front of the hotel from a little platform that made access easy, and which was also a lovely spot to watch the sun set. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Location, attentive staff, facilities & restaurant

We loved our stay at Delfini in Kamares, Sifnos. It provided us with a truly relaxing environment to soak up a less touristy Greek Island experience. Pepi and her family seem to pride themselves on making sure their guests have everything they need, and nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed with warmth and a very personal touch. We felt like family. Our breakfasts and the evening meals we had in the restaurant were, but lovely. The sea out in front of the hotel was beautiful and easily accessed for safe swimming. We loved having our own private balcony, complete with spa bath to watch the ferries and yachts come and go. Simply divine!

A little extra bottled water in the room on arrival would have been appreciated. Perhaps a litre per person to cover the first 12 hours or so for weary travellers like us. We are not used to not being able to drink water from the tap. We got there later in the evening and were picked up from the ferry. We didn't realise we could have bought an extra supply with us from town (6 pack of 1.5 litre bottes was only 2.50 euro) Only other option was to buy small bottles from reception.

The location of the property . The restaurant was excellent. Above all the staff were exceptional. The owner and her family were helpful and kind.
