Very clean fishing was good Facilities 10/10 peaceful

Would like to have electric maybe solar panels to generate own so can have a toaster x

Great place for a peaceful fishing getaway. Don't expect any luxury it is as advertised, compost toilet no electricity etc. Shower was pleasantly warm but again its basic. My son and I had a fantastic few days fishing and there us a pub 20 min walk along the canal which does nice food.

Dust in the property, didn’t seem to be cleaned often, girlfriend couldn’t stop sneezing due to dust and we had to clean the bed before we got in it as there was dust on the headrest. Outdoor facilities were not very clean with a lot of cobwebs and dirt in the shower which would be understandable as it’s outside but it’s clear it hadn’t been cleaned in a while as there was a lot of cobwebs where we were meant to cook and shower. Difficult to use shower and cooking areas being 6ft1 as the roof was so low, had to duck to get into the shower. And bend over when cleaning the dishes. Compost toilet was unusable for me as I could not sit down & close the door due to how small it was. The shared bathroom had a concerning brown stain on the shower curtain and once again the roof was so low and I hit my head on the light bulb which I was lucky did not smash on my head. It was also a shame of the noise around the property, very loud noises of what sounded like lorry’s and or bikes passing by.
