Pałac Nakomiady

A unique, historical building carefully restored by the owner. Wonderfully quiet in its own extensive grounds. Not a hotel, you feel like you are staying in a private residence. Very comfortable (and very large) room with fine views over the grounds. Dinner and breakfast served in an atmospheric basement room. Both meals were very good - breakfast in particular was very tasty with a good selection of local meats, cheeses etc. the owner/host Piotr is very interesting to talk to and very friendly and welcoming. Don’t expect a traditional hotel experience - but if you like peace and tranquility, history and nature this place is ideal. If you are visiting the area for the Wolfs lair, this is an ideal place to stay as not only is it around 25 minute drive away, but during WW2 the property was occupied by German officers!

Nothing to speak of as such, the only thing to mention is the owner has 5 Harrier dogs who are lovely and friendly, but if you don’t like dogs just one thing to be aware of. We are dog lovers and really liked them!

Fantastiska vieta un ļoti draudzīgs, izpalīdzīgs, interesants saimnieks, kas šo namu padara vēl aizraujošāku. Ir visas nepieciešamās lietas ceļotājiem, brīnišķīgas brokastis, skaista apkārtne. Tā noteikti ir vieta, kur gribētos atgriezties atkal, lai to izbaudītu nesteidzīgi.

absolutely exeptional!!! the palace, the park, the owner, the dogs, the food - everything was super!
