The view from the hotel is quite beautiful. We can see the mountains of the France Alps.
The hotel is really outdated.

Secluded, very quiet, could see the mountains from my window, family-friendly, very spacious room, dining options on-site, friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to help me with a “transportation dilemma”

A nice place for a hot day - you feel like you're on top of mountains, even if that's not the case. Fresh air, silence... for a good sleep. Restaurant is good (we had a good dinner). Breakfast is also fine. Staff is nice and willing to help. I might be back sometimes (already my 2nd experience with this hotel).
Prices are a little bit high - but that's not a big surprise - is always like this, small towns having bigger prices than big ones. Overall is still a good value for money.

Absolutely outstanding mountain views, particularly on a nice day. The dinner service was good.
The pool was green and completely out of action. It was a really hot day and only just out of summer so I expected it to still be in working order. Pretty much everything in the gym either didn’t work or was clunky and hadn’t been oiled. In the morning around 9:30 I had a member of staff unlock my door and walk into my room and immediately leave… twice! This was obviously a cleaner that didn’t know if someone was in the room or not. A pretty rude awakening. No shower head holder in the budget room.
