Bed & Breakfast Villa Vrgorac

We had a top floor room with a great view of Korcula from the balcony. The included hot breakfast was very good. We also had a good dinner at the on-site restaurant.

Occasional sewer smell.

Very nice and friendly staff. Beach front. Good food.

Family-run hotel with lovely staff, especially the waiter, Alexander, who was most accommodating and friendly, always making us feel welcome at breakfast and dinner. The food was great, with a vast and varied menu, and at a reasonable price. The hotel is on the sea front so the beach is just a short stroll across the road, with views looking directly out to Korcula town. Although our room was on the opposite side of the building, I can’t say we were disappointed with the eastern flank of Sveti Ilija - the biggest mountain on the Peljesac peninsula- looming over us. And if it weren’t for the 30 degree heat, I think we were in a prime position to try and climb it - there’s always next time! Very comfy bed, spacious room, nice balcony, and with fully functioning air conditioning.

I can’t really fault it but it was slightly further out of Orebic than we had intended when looking for accommodation. Not an issue with a car, like us, as it’s a very short drive to Orebic, otherwise it’s a long, sweaty walk in the heat along the side of a road without pavements. The water in the shower could be warmer although probably perfect for a summer heatwave!

The location was fine for the one night because you had, room and restuarant within minutes of each ofher. The view from the room was stunning - you could see Korcula. The restaurant was quite nice for dinner and breakfast. Parking was good.

It’s like Tinder - the photos are a few years older than what is realoty. The room smelled of bleach but it was not very clean. The furniture is dated and the sheets and towels are old and not properly washed. The value for price was just not there for us - you are paying for the view not the room.
