The location was quiet and near Cessnock which cut time off of our trip to Sydney.
Nothing. We liked everything.

I couldn’t have been happier with everything about the property - it wasn’t just the stunning mountain/sunset views, immaculately clean common area including a fireplace, a large dining table, a comfy lounge with blankets, DVD’s, books.multiple outdoor chairs and a beautiful inground pool, but the most important thing to me were how hard the hosts, Marie and Mark work and have worked to make Elfin Hill what it is today. Also, for the last 26 years. They are the loveliest couple you will ever meet. Nothing is too much to ask for. Breakfast is available if you’d like to order it. It’s a 7-8 mins drive to Cessnock for general shops or a similar length drive to the Hunter Valley Gardens and Harrigan’s bistro/bar/pub. There are a lot of wineries, cheese shops and other great places nearby. I absolutely loved my stay!! Thank you so much again. Rebecca
Nothing. That I couldn’t stay for a month!! Truly.

We had an incredible stay here for our first trip to Hunter Valley!! Mari & Mark were the most welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make our trip special with great advice / help to get around the area! Perfect location to try all the wineries too
The rooms, facilities and views are beautiful. The bed was sooo comfortable and it was overall such a peaceful area. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you so much.
