Potentially a very beautiful property but unfortunately not cared for at the moment. Hosts were responsive but too many problems to resolve in 4 days! Andreas provided very helpful information about the best things to see in the area.

Kitchen very poorly equipped - 1 knife was provided. Hosts did provide more on request. Toilet seat had obviously been broken a while - hosts did repair on request. Light bulbs not working. Dirty unusable swimming pool. Not enough pots and pans for cooking. Jacuzzi bath looks very dirty. Floors unclean. Such a shame as this house has huge potential - just not cared for at the moment. Not obvious what to do with rubbish. A big stack of it at bottom of drive. The details should be clearer about the access road to the property. Not a problem but it did come as a surprise.

The place as they say on this site is very nice. The view is worth it. The host, Andrea, is VERY nice. She gave me many indications that made the trip very beautiful. Very beautiful place to experience Ithaca.

The place is a ten minute walk from Stravos. If you go at night it is a bit desolate, not recommended for people who are not comfortable in the dark. It is safe but there is very little light.

In my opinion this is by far the best accommodation in Ithaca and has exceeded all our expectations. The Villa has a stunning view as showed in the pictures that I have attached, so it is always a pleasure to eat outside under the patios (the apartments are very well equipped if you like cooking). There is always an incredible scent of salvia, thyme and rosemary thanks to the rural position of this villa that is isolated from the chaos and mass tourism area but at a walking distance from Stravos the best living authentic and genuine Greek village in Ithaca (in the evening you can walk there to taste a drink and lot of delicious cakes !). In the surroundings of the villa, goats always play their tunes and the villa houses two beautiful cats Violetta and Zorro that will become your friends if you want to (they are in the pictures that I have attached!). The host Afroditi is a very gentle lady that made us feel at home. She doesn't live there and she is very discrete leaving the travellers to have their experience as the villa belongs to them. I found this the perfect balance. Having travelled in many Greek islands I strongly recommend this accommodation that can be reached by a few hundred metres of a dirt road until you reach a large iron gate without sign. I have rented a Panda in Kefalonia (Rent Car Kefalonia info at rentcarkefalonia.gr a family business run by very honest locals) and took the Levante Ferry. The nearest village Stravos has everything you need from a very affordable supermarket run by a Greek and a Southafrican lady to lovely tavernas where to chill out. I have to say thank you to this community as they made the best holiday of my life.

Wonderfully quiet, just nature. Comfortable, everything we needed, great pool.
