Fantastic apartment, ideal location would highly recommend

The tub was amazing in the loft! Big enough for two people comfortably, and lights were a pleasant surprise. Two TVs available (one in the main living area, another conveniently for us at the main bed). The washer (dryer combo) was a game changer. Thankful for an elevator (unique shape!) and luggage storage available for some extra exploring before departing to our next city. Nice location with short walks to everywhere we wanted to go!

AC unit pointed down at the main living area but did not hit the main bedroom, had to rely on a fan that was very noisy and had only fast settings. Shower seemed to have a drainage problem, and there were a few flies in the room.

Pros: The shower is the BEST! 1000% perfect. Great flow, strength and temperature. Bathroom was modern and clean. There is an elevator in the building which is helpful if needed. The bed is very comfortable and there were extra pillows (yes!). The host responds very fast and will work to solve any problem.

Cons: There are many repairs needed in this apt. (The company that owns this apt owns other in the same building.They are not located in Italy.) 2 of the cupboard doors were broken and falling off their hinges when we arrived. The balcony had no light bulb, which made it useless at night time. The lights over the vanity in the bathroom also do not work -- when you turn them on they become strobe lights (obviously broken). We ran out of trash bags (only 1 provided) and dishwashing soap. The washing machine broke and would not spin and then locked our clothes in for 2 hours. Finally got the door opened and had to hand wring the clothes. The host said I was suppose to call if there were problems. My response was why the cleaning lady did not inform the home office that there were several things broken in the apt when she cleaned and set up the apt, and when she came mid-week to clean. Why doesn't the cleaning lady check the lights in the apt and fixed ones that are broken? The problems were obvious. Is it really my responsibility to get items fixed in the apt I'm renting? The cleaning lady never did give us dish soap, even during her mid-week cleaning. It is to be also noted that the balcony over looks a patio for the coffee shop below. You can literally see and hear every one on the patio 8 feet below and they can see you. It is a busy patio and is never quite except after 8 PM when it closes, but then there is no light bulb so the balcony is useless again. The balcony has no privacy and also over looks the back of the building, not a street. The pictures are misleading to that fact. You can do better than this place in Bologna -- keep looking and pass this up.
