After a 12-hour drive, our experience took a negative turn when we encountered an unprofessional and rude security guard upon arrival. I approached him to inquire about alternative ways to contact the reception since they were not answering, but his response conveyed a lack of concern, suggesting that it was not his responsibility and we should wait for them to respond. As we waited for a response, I overheard a conversation between the security guard and some guests, including a tourist from China. Having worked in China as a teacher for three years, I could understand their conversation. To my surprise and disappointment, the security guard and another staff member engaged in a disrespectful exchange, including the use of offensive language. This behavior is unacceptable and was particularly disheartening for me, as I often speak highly of the respectful and friendly nature of Filipinos when discussing my experiences with colleagues. The conduct of this particular security guard, whom I respectfully address as Kuya Security Guard of Brenthill Baguio, did not uphold these values during my stay. While I acknowledge that everyone has their own challenges and circumstances, it is essential for hotel staff, especially those in security roles, to carry out their duties professionally and treat guests with respect. I hope that the management of Brenthill Baguio addresses this matter seriously and takes appropriate action to ensure that incidents like these do not occur in the future. The location is close to everything! You can walk around but unfortunately, it was raining and we are so lucky because we have our car so it was easy for us to see some places.

The place is near the city center. Accessible by taxi. The apartment is clean.

We paid for an earlier accommodation.. We already agreed days before checking in na mga as early as 10am sila pwedeng maaccomodate dahil may señor citizen..

No cabinets, no shelves. Condo unit was very sparsely furnished No shelves or vanity table in bathroom. Bathroom floor was very slippery

The room were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Baguio!

Secure basement parking. Kitchen has ref, microwave, multicooker, etc.Toilet has bidet. Contact person Aki is easily reachable. High location assures cold Baguio temp throughout the whole day. Cmfortable stay.

Smoke detector inside apartment does not allow regular cooking, like deep frying. But a workaround to this is to use a portable butane stove and do the cooking at the terrace. Or maybe, bring an airfryer.

No hot shower and a very small room. We specified we were coming with our kids but we didn't have enough blankets.

The “free parking” on the listing is basically illegal street parking of 3 slots on an unpaved side of the road for an entire apartment. Even the guards advise NOT to park there. If you have a car, you’ll have no choice but to pay a P400 parking fee per day. Multiple guests have also raised the lack of free parking on the property. The host should be more transparent about this additional fee on top of what you already pay. Also, no drinking water in the room and no shop for necessities within the whole apartment complex.

Ambience of the place. Aki is accommodating and kind.

The parking, I thought it is free and inside the building, but I was advise that if it is inside the premises there is an additional charge per night. Suggest that this should be properly communicated. Also, I suggest that they have to revisit the amenities or facilities mentioned on the booking.com like the gym - it is available but it was not mentioned that it is not still open due to covid. Small items like blower, iron, etc says that it is available but actually it is not. Suggest that these things should be updated but everything is fine.

The whole place felt homey and the location was perfect! It's near SM, Burham, and other attractions. The location was also very peaceful. You could jog daily whilst enjoying the scenery and the view. They have youtube and netflix as well. The host was very nice and helpful.

Aki was very hands on, he even met us while checking in. Rooms were very very clean, they still look new.
