Sto affittando il mio delizioso appartamento LATINA BRICK a Madrid. Questo è un arioso appartamento con due camere da letto e due bagni completamente rinnovato e arredato a nuovo in una casa di mattoni. La camera da letto principale (2 letti singoli) ha il proprio bagno mentre la seconda camera da letto dall'altra parte del soggiorno ha una vasca adiacente. È completamente arredato con una cucina e bagni di fascia alta e una lavatrice / asciugatrice nell'unità (yay!). Questa è la zona più calda di Madrid in cui vivere al momento, la metropolitana è in fondo all'isolato. Appartamento completamente arredato con pareti in mattoni e pietra a vista e soffitti alti. L'arredamento è elegante e moderno, pur mantenendo una sensazione confortevole e accogliente. Il primo quartiere più bello del mondo da TimeOut: "Madrid potrebbe essere la capitale più eccitante del mondo in questo momento, ed Embajadores è il suo quartiere più colorato. Questo è un posto dove persone vicine e lontane vivono fianco a fianco, preparando una vivace vita culturale. A nord, Plaza Tirso de Molina è il territorio dei fioristi di giorno e di notte si riempie di giovani festaioli in fila per entrare in Medias Puri, il club della città del momento. A sud si trovano Tabacalera e La Casa Encendida, due enormi centri culturali in piedi come navi transatlantiche che scendono a terra nel centro della città. È possibile cenare con specialità indiane servite su una tela cerata fiorita o ottenere un tagine di agnello marocchino divino a un prezzo assurdamente basso. Vita notturna e vita di strada, arte di strada e alta cultura, cibo e persone da tutto il mondo: a Embajadores, troverai tutto. Mangia la domenica quando il mercato di Rastro è aperto, troverai Santurce piena di scommettitori che si arrampicano per la loro parte delle famose sardine del bar. BEVANDA Rilassati con un gin tonic nella leggendaria Sala Equis, un ex cinema per adulti che ora è un buco nel bere. Andate a vedere uno spettacolo al teatro Art Déco El Pavón-Kamikaze, lasciando il tempo per avere un paio di birre fredde nel bar del teatro: un vivace ronzio locale a sé stante. SOGGIORNO Un paio di minuti a nord, l'Hotel ME Madrid Reina Victoria domina l'orizzonte locale con la sua torre illuminata degli anni '20. La vista dal bar sul tetto è spettacolare ".

A great place to stay. The host was really generous and accommodated our early arrival. Helena provided lots of great information and responded promptly to any inquiries. She also was helpful arranging taxi services. The apartment is very quiet, but within a 10-15 minute walk (or 5 minutes on the terrific Metro) we could easily be at the museums or major plazas. Thank you!

This apartment was a great find, a short walk away from many of the major sites. It was also very close to a number of terrific tapas bars and restaurants, as well as grocery stores. The apartment is well-equipped on a side street, so it was generally quiet. Our host had us met at the airport, a big perk for weary travelers. Two very minor issues. We arrived at Madrid very early (7:00) but the apartment could not accommodate us or our bags until one o'clock, so we ended up passing the time at a nearby coffee shop. We found out later that there are several luggage storage facilities in the area, so we recommend checking that out if you arrive early. Also, we could not seem to get the washer/dryer machine to work properly. I have read that this is sometimes a problem with this appliance, but we may not have followed the directions very well. I suggest having the hosts go over instructions on the appliances thoroughly.
Bottom line--a terrific base for exploring Madrid.

This property has been remodeled leaving beautiful building charm to see!! Great layout and very comfortable. Location is easy access to all you need. Coffee shop downstairs was very nice!!! Groceries around the corner…pharmacy downstairs…you are ready to go!!! Jose was fantastic and we appreciated the organization of arrival and departure. Thank you!!

A lovely apartment in a location that would be hard to beat. All the key locations walkable. Two bathrooms (which doesn't seem that common in Madrid in this price bracket) and very nice, comfortable bedrooms with a good kitchen area and tastefully decorated lounge. Communications with Carmen (the owner) were timely and helpful, and the arrival arrangements through the agents (Jose and Helena) were great and they couldn't have done more to help. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Madrid at this location. The apartment was well outfitted and conveniently located. Access was easy, while safe. Beds were comfy. Cute balconies looked out on the street. There is a hostel on the same street, so a little bit of late night noise, but not enough to keep me awake. The other bedroom was very quiet. Three very convenient grocery stores were within a 5-7 minute walk, as well as some great restaurants. Madrid is awesome and this was a delightful apartment as a home base for our experience.
The only small issue we had was that we were told to call once we landed and had our luggage so that they knew when we would arrive and would meet us. We had to use our own phones to call, even though we had WhatsApp or text, which would have been cheaper. When we called, we were told that they couldn't be there for an hour, though our drive only took 20 minutes. We parked ourselves at a small restaurant around the corner and had a coffee. After the 17 hour travel time, it would have been nice to get right in.
That said, the person who met us was very nice and knowledgeable. She gave us some great tips and kept in touch to make sure that we had transport back to the airport on departure. It really was such a great place to stay! We would use it again!

Great Place and location. The checking process was seamless. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We were met at the apartment and given a full tour of the place - this was very nice.
The kitchen was very nicely equipped and satisfied all out needs. Overall great experience. Thank you for letting us stay at your apartment during our vacation.

My best friend broke her ankle the night before flying out of Madrid. We had to act fast to find an accessible apartment with an elevator to stay in for a week while she healed enough to fly back to the US. We could not have found a more perfect place. This little jewel of an apartment is comfortable and beautifully appointed with a fully stocked, high-end kitchen and a great location. Thank you, Carmen!

We just completed a stay there and found the location to be unbeatable. If you like to walk, you can walk to anything! Amazing restaurants close by; shopping; museums; nightlife; everything you could want!! The unit was clean, well stocked and spacious.

Communication with the host was excellent. The apartment was just as described, comfortable beds and well equipped - particularly appreciated the supply of basics (salt, oil, coffee, water, washing up liquid etc). The location was amazing - right in the centre - which made it a little noisy in the front bedroom at times but this is to be expected in such a vibrant city.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. It has everything you need. It’s stocked with all basic necessities and even a full jar of coffee was in the pantry. The location is literally steps from the metro and grocery store. Would recommend this place very highly!!

The property was clean and bright and had everything we needed. Loved the exposed walls gave it charm. Communication wit the owner was very good and we did not arrive until 10pm and the lady was there to meet us.
