Peaceful and comfortable property within easy walking distance of the centre of Montrichard. Perfect location for exploring the Cher (and Loire) valleys. For example, we hired bikes from Montrichard to cycle to Chenonceau, about 30 minutes away. There is a small Carrefour Express in the centre of Montrichard and two larger supermarkets within about a 5-minute drive.The host, who lives next door, was kind and helpful and the house with its old-fashioned charm had plenty of space and everything we wanted.

The bungalow was very nice and was in a very quiet area.,It was very well appointed and the lounge had nice comfortable chairs , very nice covered patio at the back overlooking the large garden. Pascal lived next door so was there if you needed anything,.Unfortunately we do not speak french and Pascal did not speak english but we managed with google translate.The only problem we had was with the shower which was attached to the taps and did not hook on the wall, however I understand Pascal will be installing a shower cubicle for next year which will be much better. many thanks Pascal for a nice holiday

The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Furniture and decor of a high standard. The garden is huge and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting in the evenings on the large patio looking over the garden and the valley. Pascal made us very welcome.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this house with our children. It has everything necessary and is situated at an excellent location to explore the Loire Valley. Pascal took good care of us and made sure we had all we needed. The neighbourhood is quiet, yet Montrichard centre is just a walk away with town market, bakery, shops and supermarket. I would definitely recommend this house.
