Love the fact that the grounds are well-cared for. Lots of amenities include a small fitness center, pool, jacuzzi, putting green, tennis and pickleball courts, and a gorgeous location on the beach. The condo itself offered everything we needed including beach chairs, sand toys, coolers, cooking essentials, clean pots and pans, rice cooker, etc. Parking is plentiful and free. Check-in was easy. Overall, we enjoyed the property and would book again.

Stayed for 5 nights and would come back. Friendly staff and neighbours. Great BBQ, grounds and hot tub area. Unit had everything and was clean and well setup.

The property itself is located by tennis and pickleball courts and they have a free putting green. Fun activities for the family. The condo had 2 ac units, 1 in the main room, the other in the bedroom. When we first got there, I was concerned that it is right next to the elevator, but luckily it was quiet the whole time we stayed there. On the first day we stayed, there were no cooking utensils other than a ladle, serving fork, and a whisk. I emailed the host a small list of what I needed to have to cook for my family and she replied right away letting me know the items will be bought and brought up to our room. The items came the next day. There were also a few cockroaches here and there at night, but I have never stayed in Maui where i didn't see 1 roach running around somewhere. The checkout process was quick and easy. Would i stay here again? Maybe.

The condo was very well cleaned and all of the equipment worked. The kitchen was very well-stocked with toaster, blender, coffee maker, and plenty of pots/pans, dishes and glasses.
A bonus is the twin-size bed in the living room in addition to the couch, so including the bedroom you can fit 5 people comfortably using all of the beds. There are two full bathrooms and and washer/dryer unit. Really pleased with my stay and I’ll book again if the prices stay low.

This was a great property to stay at that provided good affordability, and a perfect location to get around the island. Terry was always very responsive to answer emails quickly when I had questions. Will definitely stay here again!

Maui Sunset is a beautiful complex that offers everything for play and relaxation. The condo was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. The on site concierge, Blue Hawaiian Tours, was great at scheduling our tours and activities. Would definitely return!

We spent a week in Maui and the condo was in a perfect location to explore the island! The condo was clean and had all the amenities in the kitchen for preparing meals. Lovely balcony with a view of the ocean.

I have never explored Kihei before and will definitely be back. I loved the small town feel and the location of this property was easy to find and quick to get places. We could get to the airport, the Road to Hana, and Lahaina without too long of a drive. I stayed in Napili last time and it was way too much driving to see everything. I felt this was pretty central. The place was a little dated, but we didn't care. I would book again. It could use a few more plates as we had to wash them every time. It was nice to have the amenities of the boogie boards, cooler, and umbrella for our use. The one thing I was a little surprised about is that the master bedroom is right on the hallway of the resort, so it didn't feel very private. Just a curtain slid across a sliding door to you and the outside world. ;) We weren't there much, so it wasn't a huge deal to us. The wifi didn't work when we got there, but Terry was quick to respond and resolve it. Her communication was excellent. It was a very memorable stay and worked well for myself and my 4 kids!

The room itself is great! I have a bad back and the walk to the beach was a bit much for me. The resort is on the beach but the walk from room to sand was challenging to me personally so I did have to drive but again it’s because of my back issues. The room was so spacious and nice! I loved cooking in the kitchen it had everything We needed for full meals. Some nights we slept in the living room with the balcony door open because it was so nice and peaceful. The beaches around were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this one!

The condo is nice and well equipped. The day bed is a great option for one person if you don’t want to use the sleeper sofa. There isn’t exactly an ocean view unless you sit near the edge of the balcony but the location is great, the pool is lovely and the price seemed like a good value.

The TV program is difficult and should have basic instructions. Not everyone has Netflix KS, Zulu etc. The condo is pleasant & well kept. Got lots of robo calls Monday morning which is annoying

We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful condo. The master bed was comfortable, there was plenty of extra bedding and pillows for our children for the other beds, the kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware, and the condo was extremely clean. The pool was perfect, the beach is mere steps from the pool, and our kids had fun playing shuffleboard and mini golf. Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, this property provided a spacious and affordable stay for our family of 3. We loved having our daughter sleep on the twin bed out by the kitchen while we had the privacy of the bedroom to ourselves. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The beach was a short walk past the pool. Location was easy to find and had easy access to local highways to explore Maui. No trouble finding food or shopping for things we needed. The grounds for Maui Sunset were well taken care off and made for a relaxing and beautiful stay. For the price and location, we would consider this property again.

This place was perfect for me & my little family. Had no issues checking in or reaching the owner. Condo was fully equipped to meet all our needs. We enjoyed the kitchen most and making home cooked meals rather than dining out. We also enjoyed the location and it being so close to the beach, such a convenience. Only things I would recommend is moving the location of the a/c, or possibly replacing. Couldn't feel the air flow throughout the livingroom, it was always hot and muggy. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for the memorable stay.

The owner was extremely helpful. I loved the pool and hot tub being so close to the beach. The Condo had snorkel, boogie boards, beach chairs etc. Fantastic!
