Rilassati sul ponte o nella veranda sul grande schermo e osserva le navi che vanno e vengono dal porto di Silver Bay. Enorme vista sul lago e sulla Palisade Head. Molto riservato e tranquillo.

Shawn & Ed were just awesome to work with, they are solid gold hosts! Their cabin is SO SO SO PRECIOUS. We hope to come back very soon! The wood fire sauna was beyond wonderful:) this gem is worth the stay, trust us on this one peeps!

Anniversary weekend and this place was perfect to rest up (nice sauna) after hiking all day. The hosts even blazed a snowshoe trail for us! The view of the lake was top notch!! We will return.

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for our wedding anniversary. This is an amazing cabin hand built by the owners. Everything about the cabin and scenery was picturesque. We enjoyed watching the boats on Lake Superior, we hiked to High Falls on the snowshoeing trails directly from the cabin, we relaxed by the wood stove, and used the sauna. The kitchenette had everything you could need. The location was perfect and central to many things.We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This cabin is outstanding! The location, cleanliness, amenities, and size suited us perfectly. All of our expectations were exceeded and I would highly recommend a stay at this cabin to anyone looking for this type of quiet, peaceful getaway. Awesome and cozy cabin that lived up to its advertising. I'm going to focus on one positive thing that was a pleasant surprise and has irritated me with other VRBOs - Comfortable Chairs. The place had actually several options both indoors and outdoors that made our goal of just relaxing the days away possible. In particular we spent many hours in the padded swivel chairs on the deck reading, snacking, birdwatching and soaking in the lake views. THX

Our family of four stayed in this beautiful handcrafted log cabin at the conclusion of a 5 day bike packing trip on the north shore. It was the perfect location and ideal place to unwind, debrief, and spend our last two days relaxing-- cozy in the loft, in sunshine on the porch with 180° views of Lake Superior, recline in the sauna, read in one of the many nooks. Kitchen worked well for us-- we made all of our meals on the hot plate and even baked brownies in the convection oven. After our stay we visited Crystal Cave beach -- close by and off the main highway. A must! Thank you Shawn for your hospitality and for hosting us at your beautiful cabin.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was so quaint and we could not have asked for better views of Lake Superior! The cabin is furnished with everything you need. We really enjoyed the sauna as the weather was a bit cool. It was perfect! We definitely want to come back and stay in the winter. We highly recommend this cabin for your North Shore get away.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It is centrally located to many hiking trails, state parks, and beaches. We utilized the screened porch to sit in the evenings after long hikes and put a puzzle together. The cabin is comfortable and has all them amenities one needs for a getaway!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The views from the deck are amazing, it was very clean and communication with the property owners was quick and easy. Highly recommend staying here and I'm hoping to go back during the fall color run.

BEAUTIFUL log cabin!! We loved staying here! We went up 61 and agate hunted most of the time and it was such a peaceful place to come back and relax, truly lovely!
My grandkids loved having a fire every night and the skylight up in the loft was really cool! Oh man the stars!!
My granddaughter actually teared up when we left.

The weather didn’t cooperate with our trip too well, but if you’re gonna be stuck somewhere for a couple days, this cabin is a perfect place to be stuck. When the sky was clear we could look out at the big lake with our deer friends, and at night look up through the skylight at the stars. We had a really relaxing time listening to music and playing card games!

My husband, myself, and another couple have stayed at this cabin for an extended weekend trip for the last three years, and each time the cabin just gets better and better! As always it was super clean and the hosts made it clear we could go to them with any questions or concerns we had (even though we had none). A great size and has a very thing you’d need in the kitchen. We tried out the snowshoe trails surround the cabin this year and kicked ourselves for not doing it the previous two. My favorite part was waking up and having a cup of coffee while watching the deer right outside the window, with Lake Superior as the backdrop. Can’t wait to go next year!!

this cabin is incredible. it was handcrafted, and there’s so much intention that has went into it. from the little touches like the canoe over the dining room table (which our kids affectionately named paddle-to-the-sea after a favorite book) to bird bingo and the wood fired sauna. the property is beautiful with snowshoe trails right off the porch. watching the sun rise over Lake Superior with a fire in the wood stove and a cup of coffee in hand is the best, slow way to start a winters day. hiking is in close proximity to several state parks. Shawn was a hospitable host, great, quick communication and friendly. timber coffee in nearby silver bay is a gem if you want to warm up after spending time outside (great coffee and a basket with family games and books). truly, this is a gem for a winters getaway and making those family memories - our kids are already asking to go back. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The views of Lake Superior throught the big picture window were amazing. We loved snowshoeing to High Falls right from the cabin and the easy access to multiple XC ski trails. It was perfect and we hope to return !

This is our 3rd time staying at this cozy cabin. During our 6 night stay we explored snowshoe trails accessible from the front door, enjoyed stunning views, the company of deer and grouse, cozy fires and the wood-burning sauna.
One night we were treated to the sounds of wolves howling and barking nearby. It was a 'first' for both of us, and an experience we will never forget!
This was a perfect getaway for 2 weary educators; restoring body, mind and soul.

Spent a long weekend at Shawn and Ed's sweet cabin right on the edge of Tettegouche State Park. Everything was comfortable, modern, clean, and convenient without being too stuffy. The views were great, both of Lake Superior from the huge windows or porch and the night sky through the skylight in the loft. Easy drives to so many places to have outdoor adventures or very comfortable to stay in and relax and sauna, sit by the fire or read. Can't wait to visit again!

Great property and views. Traffic noise from the highway was the only downfall. The sauna was great. Staircase up to the loft made me a little uneasy but it was fine for the few times I used it. Overall we had a great time on our trip and enjoyed staying in the cabin!

Beautiful cabin. Beautiful location. Peaceful getaway with lots of north shore activities nearby. Watched the sunrise over Lake Superior every morning while enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck. The sauna was amazing!

This cabin exceeded all expectations! Evenings on the deck till sunset and early mornings waking up to a multitude of stars. Whole coffee beans to grind for fresh coffee before hiking all the nearby trails. Perfect peace and solitude.

We have been staying regularly since our initial visit, which was our honeymoon 11 years ago. We continue to create great memories during our stays and this visit was no exception! Thank you Shawn and Ed for sharing this great place, for us and others to enjoy!

We were kicked out of the cabin due to having 4 people instead of 2. Shawn texted me the day after we checked in asking how many people were staying at the cabin. When I told her 4 she said that her rules are clear, she no longer trusts me, and that we would need to get out of the cabin. I replied that the rules are obviously not clear as last year we had 3 people instead of 2 and she was okay with that. For both instances the reservation was for 2 people. If I were going to break the rules, would we all walk past her ring camera? Would I have told her 4 when she asked? And why was she asking? Regardless, when I tried to call her to discuss the issue she would not answer her phone. I left her and Ed both messages on their phones to call me back and I tried to call them multiple times. I also left text messages asking them to call me to have a discussion but I received no replies from them. She lost some good renters. We don’t drink, smoke, party, swear. All we do is play board games, read books, and hike. Good thing there are lots of other places to stay.
