Se stai cercando una vacanza tranquilla, questo accogliente cottage è la tua vacanza perfetta! Il cottage è incastonato tra il canale Diversion e il pittoresco fiume Petite Amite. (Il canale di diversione è una grande via navigabile dal fiume Amite al fiume cieco.) Questa community di golf cart (golf cart inclusa con il noleggio) offre una tranquilla tranquillità dal rumore della vita quotidiana! L'isola ha una piscina condominiale e il padiglione Bar-B-Que per il vostro divertimento. Fai un giro in barca intorno all'isola per vedere splendide paludi con grandi cipressi vestiti di muschio cadente. In una buona giornata potresti vedere tartarughe, alligatori, nutria e garzette nevose. Fermati al Blind River Bar per il loro famoso "Worm Bucket"! Oppure puoi goderti ore di pesca e sci d'acqua sui nostri laghi e fiumi. Se non hai una barca, puoi fare un giro in golf cart al Moonies Bar e goderti musica dal vivo e aragoste bollite piccanti. Deliziosi ristoranti messicani e di pesce sono a dieci minuti dal cottage. Goditi i margarita dal ristorante messicano di Sarita, tutti i minuti dal cottage (la nuova posizione del ristorante messicano di Sarita è la 18780 Highway 22, Maurepas, LA).

We were skeptical at first but never judge a book by its cover. The inside was very cute. We enjoyed our stay would probably stay again.

We had a blast! The house was more than expected! Perfect amount of space if your there the get out on the water or be outside most of your trip, it’s also perfect for a day or night in if that’s what your wanting! The view from the living area windows is awesome! The deck is spacious the dock is the perfect spot to fish a little and see the gators at night! If you have a boat it’s the perfect area to get your swap experience itched for sure!!
I will say the lakes are rough if you don’t know the nature of the environment 😅 BUT the house it’s self and the canal it’s on are above and beyond!
The coolest part was the fact you have to ride the golf cart to and from the house that really was a neat surprise perfect from actually seeing the scenery!

This is a great little condo. We really enjoyed our stay. We were unable to use the boat dock, but we made it work.

The property was very nice. The overall experience, however, was disappointing. When booking the property I scheduled for the wrong days. When realizing this, through the VRBO site the change in dates was confirmed. When we arrived at the property to check in, Marcus said that he was unaware of the change.
An additional disappointment is the fact that we were unaware that the property was inaccessible by car. We spent 45 minutes driving around looking for the property we’d be staying, not realizing we would have to take a golfcart to get to the cabin.
Once we were in the cabin, while the cabin was quaint, we were disappointed about the fact that the lights wouldn’t come on and the bedroom tv didn’t work. What’s more, one of the floor vents, which was hidden under a rug, was broken. My wife had tripped because of this and, despite making Marcus aware of it, the vent wasn’t fixed during our stay.
The final disappointment is that the property as listed on VRBO didn’t explicitly say that no Wi-Fi was available. As such, I wasn’t able to access my worksite remotely. Had I been aware of this, I never would have made the reservation in the first place because I was on call during our stay.
We have plans if taking our grandkids to a cabin for a similar stay. Unfortunately, due to our overall experience at this site we will not make future reservations at this location.
