Perfect!

Our stay at Secluded Summit could not have been any better. The views from the deck were spectacular! The cabin was in a perfect location between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend. We loved the peace and quiet of the cabin after a busy day. We also saw a black bear and her small cub at the end of the driveway. Overall a great vacation experience!

The cabin was nicely decorated, comfy and cozy. The front porch was large with lots of places to sit and relax. The view from the front window and from the porch is breathtaking. Gorgeous mountain views from all sides of the cabin, very quiet and peaceful. I took off a star because we found mouse droppings on the kitchen table. I know this happens in the woods but there wasn’t any disinfecting spray to wipe the table or countertops. On our last night, we were woken up by strange noises. My husband got up to investigate but didn’t find anything. The next morning mice had gotten into my canvas food bags, helping themselves to snacks and my dog’s biscuits. Next time I’ll be sure to keep food items in a storage tub. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had beautiful weather to explore the area.

I would love to give this cabin a higher rating. The space is wonderful, the porches and views are absolutely amazing. There is plenty of room to spread out. However, the kitchen equipment (appliances/utensils/silverware/cookware) significantly lacked in quality. The sofas and pillows were worn flat and there were missing/broken elements of the games. The top bedding could probably use an update as well.Overall a beautiful location to take in the views and relax. With a few updates, could be a 5-star for sure!
