Wow! What an amazing place for a bachelorette party—right in the heart of 6th Street! This wasn’t just a stay, it was an experience! The house is huge and such a unique piece of architecture and history. I’ll echo what others have said: this is a GREAT place for groups looking to celebrate. Don’t expect brand-new everything. Part of the charm is the character, history, and originality of the property. The house was clean, spacious, and full of personality. The host was fantastic—responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. And yes, this is ON 6th Street. There is music, there are crowds, and there is nightlife. That’s exactly why many people book it!The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, the back bedroom was definitely the quietest, and the pool was the perfect temperature. My favorite surprise was the gated front porch—we spent hours there with cocktails, people-watching and soaking in the Austin energy.I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable celebration. Also, a huge thank you to the owners for opening up such a cool and unique space. We made memories this weekend that we’ll be laughing about for years, and places like this make those kinds of weekends possible. Thanks for trusting a bunch of women on a bachelorette party with your house—we did our best to make mostly good decisions.

Absolutely wonderful stay for my brothers bachelor's party. The rental is unique and has so much character. There was coffee and snacks provided. The pool was so fun and relaxing. And the host communication was amazing. 5 out 5!

Place is EPIC!!

You will find nothing like this home in Austin, and we have a lot of cool places to stay! Located on "dirty 6th" you step outside into the Austin music and party scene. Inside is a tranquil space with beautiful art and incredible lighting from skylights. But it is loud. They warn you that it's loud. You sign off that it's loud--and they mean it. Besides the music from the neighboring bars, after closing time, Austin cleans up after itself... and has street cleaners (think leaf blowers) after the partiers leave. BUT - they provide ear plugs and you can sleep late to enjoy this incredible space. They have Sonos throughout home - you put on your own music in the evening and control via several speakers - it's awesome! communication was great - service was great! And for being right on 6th, I was worried passer byers would try to get in ... people don't even notice the gate (which has a coded locked). I had more people try to walk into a unique homefront in Alpine Tx, than we did down here. :-)
