Guest House Babina - Apartments King & Queen

Location was great, easy walking distance to everything and quiet.

It was very small

Host was super responsive and kind. She gave detailed instructions how to reach the apartment , and added some valuable advices about the transfer from the airport . Very comfortable sleeping, excellent location for a city stroll.

All was good.

Property host was helpful and amazing accommodation was very lovely and super close by to everything you need ! Would recommend

Very good location, clear checkin instructions and responsive manager.

I rarely leave poor reviews, but I was rather surprised by this accommodation, so here we go. Pictures feel deceptive. This apartment felt like a grungy dungeon. It is small, with very low ceilings (making it feel even smaller), it feels like you are living in a basement despite being on the second floor. We did not find it particularly clean. Possibly blood on the window sill (see pictures). The renovations/ upgrades are not aging well. The paint job is shotty and makes the place feel dumpy (different sheens of paint around the wall, white paint splotches on wooden baseboards, etc...). Floors are slanted. The bathroom is tiny (could barely bend over to shave legs). Instructions to use microwave (which is hardwired and requires you flip a lightswitch to work) and tv (which requires that you unplug and replug the tv back in each time) should be made more clear. I'm really not sure how this place got such good reviews. We avoided staying in the room because it just felt gross. Would not recommend.
